The fairy tale goes... After the princess kissed the frog, it turned into a handsome prince and they lived happily ever after...

Shan Jun Hao, the CEO to a large hotel chain, is the stereotypical heir – spoiled, coldhearted, and ruthless. He meets Ye Tian Yu, a schemer and somewhat of a gold-digger and after a series of events, Tian Yu "accidentally" runs Jun Hao over. Turns out, Jun Hao has lost all of his memories and became a kindhearted and loving person. Just when love is in the air, Jun Hao's family came looking for him and he has a fiancée who loves and misses him. Some more "accidents" occurred, and Jun Hao lost all of his memories of Tian Yu and went back to being a spoiled heir. However, Tian Yu fights for their love even though Jun Hao thinks of her as a lying schemer. Will Jun Hao remember his love for Tian Yu? Who will Jun Hao choose? And who is the person causing all the "accidents"?

Yeah...right.

When you visit a little town called Guan Mei, you may meet Ye Tian-Yu (Chen Qiao En). At first glance, she may seem like a shameless, money-grubbing, deceiving little schemer. And when you meet her family at their little grocery store called "Qian Lai Ye" (Money c'mon in), you will find the shameless, money-grubbing, deceiving little schemer trait runs in the family. But, please don't prejudge them. They are actually very kind-hearted townsfolk, as Shan Jun-Hao (Ming Dao) finds out when he gets involved in a mysterious car accident and loses his memory.

Shan Jun-Hao is a general manger of Senwell Hotel, in which his family owns 60% of the shares. His cold-hearted, cut-throat management style pisses quite a lot of people inside and outside of the hotel. So on the day of his engagement to his childhood friend, Fan Yun-Xi (Zhao Hong Qiao), he gets kidnapped. Not someone who takes it lying down, he fights for the control of the kidnapping car. The car crashes into a side railing and falls down a cliff. Luckily, he survives the crash and manages to climb back up onto the highway. Unfortunely, he is immediately hit by an oncoming car and knocked unconscious. And, who hit him? A little hint... her family owns a grocery store.

While watching this drama and even after it, the first thing that came to my mind – was this a remake of the Korean Drama "Save the Last Dance for Me"? There are many similarities, including both featured a successful heir, the other guy plotting to kill him, the heir loses the memory, and after some accident he loses the memory of the time he spent away from his family but remembers everything else. Then the main girl character would come and work for the heir. I don't believe these similarities are truly coincidental.

Couldn't it have just ended like that?
+
First of all, the acting in this drama were very credible. Ming Dao successful executed his role as a spoiled and ruthless heir while Chen Qiao An can act like a liar and a good girl. Sam Wong expressed his character as the best friend with a secret hatred, and Zhao Hong Qiao was the perfectly groomed girl but can also act psychotic when she needed to.

Oh course not. Shan Jun-Hao has a fiancé who misses him terribly. And her grief is breaking Xu Zhi-Qian's (Sam Wang) heart. Xu Zi-Qian knows and loves Fan Yun-Xi more than anyone. He tries to be her support, her comfort, her Shan Jun-Hao replacement. Yet, he knows he can't never replace Shan Jun-Hao. So he goes out searching for his love rival and discovers "Dang Oh" in Guan Mei. He tries to bring Dang Oh back to Fan Yun-Xi, but Dang Oh refuses to go because he doesn't believe he is Shan Jun-Hao. However, yet another car accident happens to Dang Oh and causes him to forget everything that happened after the previous car accident and remembers everything before it. So in other words, bye bye Dang Oh and hello Shan Jun-Hao.
+
The music in the drama complements the drama well; the introduction gives the idea of a scheme that someone might be implementing, and the conclusion depicts the merit of true love.

Ye Tian-Yu still loves Dang Oh. Xu Zi-Qian still loves Fan Yun-Xi. So, the two of them decide to fight for their love one last time. They make an agreement that if they couldn't get their love back, then they would go out with each other. Things happen, and eventually Shan Jun-Hao falls back in love with Ye Tian-Yu. But, Xu Zi-Qian is already on the move to get Ye Tian-Yu to forget 'Dang-Oh' and go out with him.

Overall rating: 3.5/5. I believe that my prior knowledge in "Save the Last Dance for Me" interfered with my liking of this drama. It was too predictable, something that I do not like in dramas. I think dramas should show the audience surprises not seen in other dramas, but I can guess exactly what will happen in this drama. Despite the good action, acting, romance, and comedy in this drama, I did not like it as much. If you wish to watch this drama, be sure you haven't watched "Save the Last Dance for Me" or else the plot would be totally ruined. I imagine if you haven't watched "Save the Last Dance for Me" and you watch this drama, you will enjoy seeing the twists and turns.

So who will end up with who? Will Shan Jun-Hao be able to win back Ye Tian-Yu? Or, will he resume his original plan and marry Fan Yun-Xi?

I really enjoyed this series very much. I first saw this series, than a couple of months later watched "Save the last Dance" and really enjoyed that series two. The storyline is quite similar, however that can be said about any series or movie that you watch. Archetypical themes, characters, settings, background and etc. will always be used, in addition to other elements including foreshadowing. However it differs in the tone, mood and overall presentation. This series differ from "Save the Last Dance" in that is much more lighthearted and focuses not just on romantic relationships but family relationships THROUGHOUT the series. Both series were very fun to watch.

I found this drama really hard to get into at first but started getting addicted to it as I watched more. There were 30 episodes but I didn't find that it dragged at all. It was a little unrealistic at times but you could get over it. What I really liked about this drama was the actors and actresses. I thought that they were really good in this one and you really felt for them. When they cried, you cried. When they laughed, you laughed. You would really like this and it is not a drama you would regret watching.
