I'm in love with Korean dramas :) I never got the hang of Japanese dramas and over 50% of Taiwanese dramas are either unable to be taken seriously, ridiculously written, or have bad actors. That doesn't mean I dislike them: there are a few that are clear masterpieces ;). Plus I'm a Chinese-American so it really helps my sad Mandarin... I never watch dramas online, I think it's annoying when you have to stop and change the video every 10 minutes or it randomly pauses due to slow loading and you have to pause it and wait. It's also arrogant when your internet connection randomly cuts off. Therefore, I resort to downloading dramas (anti-torrent).

Download sites include: Baidu (TW dramas, low-quality), Silent Regrets (all dramas, up-and-running again?), Idols Unlimited (most recommended but has a lot of pop ups), Doremii Blogspot (TW & JPN dramas, a little slow on certain dramas- but by far the best translations), Chinky Blogspot (most dramas).

Episode 2: ha, pretty cute. a nice step away from Only You.
as i mentioned before, i stopped watching goong after the first episode because the subtitles were off-timed and i couldn't find another place to download it. i finally did find somewhere, and hopefully the timings will be consistent with the voices now!

episode 16: hmm so weird. very nice ending, even though it was pretty much expected :)
episode 15: muahahah the ending [of this episode] was tres cute :D
episode 12-14: ahh, slowing down much too fast (too much talking/grabbing one's hands and running off/talking to oneself) and more than typical-old-style-love-square.
episode 11: still a little fast-paced but good since everything has finally been revealed! the only thing i don't understand is why yi-joon has a postcard(?) with a sketch of a baby on it o_o
episode 10: ahh it's finally getting good!! too good to spoil anything.. :D
episode 9: the love square has definitely defined itself.. but the problem is that instead of the wannabe-girlfriend charging for the male lead's love, it's the male lead's older sister who's against the female lead. in other words, the noona is utterly and especially hateful. if it was the wannabe-girlfriend, you can feel sorry for her because she wants him, but what sympathetic feelings are there for yi-gyung who has no reason to hate eun-jae? what a bitch.
episode 8: aggressive interference of the secondary female character = (finally) beginning of real korean drama material [the love square] this is the part for familiarity to settle down, both for the better and worse..
episode 7: mm i'm beginning to like this a little better. ahh yi joon meeting jin sol was so cute :)
episodes 4, 5, & 6: i'd say that this drama has progressed too fast..with a lot of lagging in between. there isn't much of a complicated plot, except for bits and pieces that are deemed Important. so basically it's a lot of talking and reflecting and pieces of random (and sudden) events that either screw up or improve the two main characters' relationship. it's hard to due reviews on an insignificant drama..
episode 3: now it's getting too slow... i think i'm just anxious for yi-joon to find out that he has a son. and yeah it's a lot like kim sam-soon! i also realized that sam-soon's unni is also the noona of yi-joon. how was she able to act in two dramas that aired at the same time? not just two dramas, but two cooking dramas.. hah anyway, keeping the rating as it is.
episode 2: well to an extent, better than the first episode. the plot is really rushed (time goes by too fast, events aren't as explained, and a lot of assumptions must be made) but maybe it's because i'm used to dramas that tend to drag (very common). somewhat reminds me of kim sam-soon, with the exuberant yet poor chef-wannabe and the stone-faced rich guy who needs a chef for his future restaurant (or something of that ilk). *they both aired on june 2005...wow that's a lot of cuisine/food dramas to be hit with at once...
episode 1: a little boring. the guy (jo hyun jae) is too much of a reclusive for me and eun jae (han chae young) seems like the typical optimistic stubborn girl..
i heard ratings aren't the best but it has han chae young..who impressed me by far in "delightful girl choon hyang."
this will be the first drama to get episode-by-episode reviews. (i think :P)
