Synopsis

Shomuni is based on a manga centering around six OLs (office ladies). Esumi Makiko plays Tsuboi Chinatsu, the boisterous and unyielding leader of the group. Due to some rumors, Tsukuhara Kyono Kotomi is demoted to working in General Affairs Section 2: the group of OLs who are in charge of replacing broken light bulbs, restocking toilet paper, and other such menial labor. This division of the business is often looked down upon by the other workers, especially the "elite secretariat," or executive assistants. But each episode proves to everyone just how important they are to the business as a whole.
