Synopsis
Based on a novel written by Ooka Shohei. This is the fourth season of the drama series on a warmhearted lawyer, Kikuchi Daisaburo. In this season, Kikuchi is appointed as a court-assigned defense lawyer of a man who is charged with murder. He is alleged to have killed a bar hostess after quarreling over money and to have stolen her money. Though the case seems to be simple at first, it becomes more complicated as both the victim and the assailant could not be identified.
