Synopsis
The series tells the story of a young college graduate who returns to his hometown, Jinshi Town, a small town in a southern province of China, to start a business. The male protagonist, Cao Feiyang, is a student from a prestigious university who heeds the government's call to return home and start a business, dedicating himself to the development of his hometown's agritourism industry. However, this decision leaves behind his college girlfriend, Mo Qingchun. After their breakup, he immerses himself in the development plans for local tourism and organizes a two-day investment attraction conference, inviting well-known entrepreneurs from near and far. Just as he is about to make a significant impact, a mishap in hosting tourists by the Eastern and Western villages complicates the project. "The Little Tyrant" Lin Yinuo from the Eastern village, "The Spokesperson" Cai Yiming from the Western village, along with "The Oddball" Xu Chenchen, "Little Fatty Girl” Zeng Meili, "Turtle Hermit" Mr. Lin, and others, engage in various schemes to attract tourists, resulting in a series of hilarious and absurd dramas. Meanwhile, the female protagonist, Mo Qingchun, arrives in town and gets caught up in a "tour group adventure", experiencing the charm and warmth of rural life. With the support of Cao Feiyang and Mo Qingchun, problems are solved one by one, ultimately uniting the town's eighteen villages and becoming the role model for rural revitalization and shared prosperity. To thank Cao Feiyang for his hard work, Lin Yinuo, Cai Yiming, Xu Chenchen, Zeng Meili, and even Cao Feiyang's own mother and Mr. Lin, along with other villagers, help Feiyang be reconciled with Qingchun by creating the most heartwarming and romantic proposal with little lanterns.
