Synopsis
Educated youths Fang Xinyan and Jiang Haiyang were once deeply in love and shared the same ideals. Both were recommended to attend university, but a misunderstanding caused them to part ways. Years later, when they reunite, Fang Xinyan is already married to the kind and honest Zhou Xinmin. The two former lovers set aside their past and work together with dedication.
After Zhou Xinmin passes away from illness, Jiang Haiyang finally learns the truth behind the past misunderstanding. He supports Fang Xinyan through her hardships and takes on the responsibility of helping care for Zhou’s family. Meanwhile, Xu Linbo, Fang Xinyan’s colleague and admirer, goes astray due to selfish motives, causing trouble for the factory and pushing himself into difficulty.
