Synopsis
The plot revolves around Shangguan Chengming, a wealthy young man from Jiangsu-Zhejiang region. After his family is annihilated in a scheme orchestrated by the Tianxiang Sect, he assumes a new identity and becomes an apprentice to the wheelchair-bound Jin Buhuan, engaging in a battle of wits with his wife Jiang Feiyan, who is trapped in Jiangxiang Sect
Shangguan Chengming meets Jiang Feiyan at an opera house. After the two secretly pledged their love, they encountered Blind Du's prophecy of a family calamity. Through a series of elaborate deceptions exposing metaphysical frauds like "Divine Child Descends," they ultimately dismantle the Tianxiang Sect's criminal organization.
