Sorry to disturb...
Hi YT, I'm Daysleeper, new member here. I want to ask you something, hopefully you can help me. Here's the thing, I saw this page Harada_Ryuji and his picture there is not in right box. How to place the picture in the appropiate box?
Thank you very much.
Daysleeper
Click on the "edit" box and look what's wrong... (little hint: The box is on the first line and the wrong images are the three next lines. You may also try the help page) --Le Piaf 05:20, 28 Dec 2005 (EST)
Inserting Images
Most can follow this format:

or:

File:YamadaTakayuki11.jpg Yamada Takayuki |
File:YamadaTakayuki11.jpg Yamada Takayuki |
If you want to go further and force the image to a certain size then insert the pixel size

Thank you
Hi YT, Thank you very much for the update you made upon my question. :) BTW, I found this link containing the picture of actress Bold Takagi Miho (she played in Gakkou e Ikou!, the old dorama with Asano Yuko and Fuse Hiroshi).
Maybe it can be useful somehow. Takagi Miho : http://www.wendy-net.com/cyumoku/image/153top.jpg
Thank you. --Daysleeper
Entered - Takagi Miho. What is her date of birth, 1979 doesn't seem to be correct. --YT 02:06, 31 Dec 2005 (EST)

I think you should start learning how to insert images yourself. The instructions are stated above. All you have to do is upload the image using the link on the left hand menu "Upload file". --YT 20:56, 1 Mar 2006 (EST)

Please make sure that when you add a drama to an artist's page that it is listed accordingly to the broadcast date and not just the year (i.e. with Sin Ho Ying's page you recently edited). Thank you! ladys07 00:37, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Some hints to improve your editing
Thanks for your many many DramaWiki contributions. It would be nice if you would plan your edits a little more to (a) save some system resources and (b) make it easier for other editors who try to patrol the recent changes list. I noticed that some of your contributions (page edits) could have been done with less saves. Just in case you didn't know, every time you save an edit you create a new copy/backup of the whole article inside the wiki's database. It's a good idea to use the Preview button to see what your change will look like, before you save it. This helps reducing (unnecessary) saves, especially when testing edits.
Here are some hints to avoid some unnecessary edits/saves:
- preview (and test) an edit before saving it to reduce the number of consecutive edits due to typos or forgotten information
- somehow plan your edit before making the contribution (e.g. by collecting information offline) ... and try to create new articles with one edit
- postpone trivial (cleanup) edits until your next "real" edit
- do a full page edit instead of several consecutive section edits
- using multiple edit windows (in a tabbed webbrowser) helps a lot to test previewed edits or when working on several related articles
Last but not least, it is very helpful for other editors (patrollers) if you comment more of your contributions, especially when adding new information to a page. For example, simply use "+ring" when adding a dramaring (and remove the misleading "/* External Links */" edit comment in case you add the ring template through a section edit). Thanks and happy editing. --MoerkJ talk 23:50, 4 Jul 2009 (UTC)
