Started her acting career at the age of 5
Currently in her 1st year at Meiji University's Faculty ( same University as Yamashita Tomohisa of Literature, majoring in theatre. She is also taking Chinese as her second language elective at university
In the same talent agency as Matsushima Nanako, with whom she has acted in several dramas, including the recent Hotaru no Haka, Hana Yori Dango and Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji 3
Looks up to veteran actress, Otake Shinobu
Has an older brother who is fourteen years her senior
