Synopsis
Hanazawa Taro is a policeman stationed at a Police Box in the town of Kyoto. Showing the way to tourists without being asked, taking care of children assumed as lost even though the child is not crying; forcing help on the old by helping them carry their heavy packages; at one glance, he is nothing but a kind yet meddlesome policeman. However, how can he tell that the tourists are looking for directions before being asked? That the child is lost even though he/she is not crying? That the packages are heavy and a burden for the old without them voicing out their complaints? Yes, Hanazawa Taro has an agile, perceptive mind and is very observant.
One day, Hanazawa's destiny is changed forever, due to an incident and a chance meeting with a lady. The lady, none other than the Chief of the First Investigation Division, NIshikori Reiko, recognises his skills immediately and against all odds, promotes him to Detective of the Chief's Special Squad. --TV Asahi
