With the HDTV Feature series KBS adapts famous novels for a series of one-act TV specials in HD quality. KBS did already broadcast several other TV Feature series before the HDTV technology era. The program aired on KBS1 often during holidays. In 2009 the two specials aired on KBS2.
Due to budget costs and low ratings the series stopped in December 2009. In 2011 KBS continued to produce three more HDTV Features.
