[[Yakushimaru Hiroko]] plays Nanami, a 35-year-old wife and mother, trying to come to grips with her wants and needs--a job, a better relationship with her mother-in-law; good schools for her children. She and her husband Wataru ([[Kamikawa Takaya]]) live in a suburb of Tokyo with their three little children. Wataru's father ([[Ryu Raita]]) offers them a chance to save some money by moving in with him and his wife. Although Nanami doesn't get along very well with her mother-in-law ([[Sawada Ayako]]), she lets the prospect of having Wataru's mom look after the kids so that she can go out and find a job persuade her to agree to the move.
