Synopsis

Yakushimaru Hiroko plays Nanami, a 35-year-old wife and mother, trying to come to grips with her wants and needs--a job, a better relationship with her mother-in-law; good schools for her children. She and her husband Wataru (Kamikawa Takaya) live in a suburb of Tokyo with their three little children. Wataru's father (Ryu Raita) offers them a chance to save some money by moving in with him and his wife. Although Nanami doesn't get along very well with her mother-in-law (Sawada Ayako), she lets the prospect of having Wataru's mom look after the kids so that she can go out and find a job persuade her to agree to the move. Little does she realize the host of problems that move would create. --KIKU-TV
