DramaWiki Copyright?

What is the copyright status of articles written for DramaWiki? Can they be transwiki'd to the Wikipedia? --Kunzite 20:04, 3 Apr 2006 (EDT)

Please take this discussion to the forum here --> [1] and leave this section for the moderators. --YtToshi 22:30, 3 Apr 2006 (EDT)
I'd rather not have to register for another service which I'm not ever going to use. If this place is only for admin chatter, you really should state it the top or move this to the talk page. --Kunzite 23:06, 11 Apr 2006 (EDT)
transwiki'ding is generally frown upon. Its better if you just provide a link to the relevant DramaWiki pages from Wikipedia. --Ruroshin 19:01, 4 Apr 2006 (EDT)
Articles consisting of just links are not allowed in the Wikipedia. Stubs of Japanese television shows also have a hard time passing notability standards. A lot of the articles here would also be quicly deleted because of thier lack of content. (Wikipedia has a lot of 'deletionists' -- just publishing a list of shows an actor has been in will attract one of them. It did to one of my seiyuu translations last week even though it has biographics information in it as well.)
I'm not interested in wholesale copying or even minor copying. I started cleaning the "dorama" section after translating some articles on audio drama and seiyu from jp Wikipedia. (I really have no interest in the subject; I usually stick to the stage and animated varieties of Japanese drama.)
The second reason I want to know the specific copyright status for this site is in the event that content if copied from here to the Wikipedia or vice versa. This affects how Wikipedia users decide to keep certain items and the like such. (It also may mean that you may not be able to use or protect info taken from Wikipedia i.e. a translation of the jp Wikipedia page. Per: wp license) DramaWiki has no clearly visable license information.
Someone also should add this wiki to the MetaWiki:Interwiki_map for easy linking. --Kunzite 23:06, 11 Apr 2006 (EDT)
Although this may not be Ruroshin's reason, it is certainly mine... I just don't want the contents of DramaWiki to be plastered all over all the other wiki sites. My feeling is the same with the reverse - I don't like seeing people copying information off the other wiki's and onto DramaWiki. My personal goal is for DramaWiki to be the number-1 resource of Asian TV drama information. If our information is duplicated elsewhere, we're going to lose that edge. --Groink 20:12, 4 Apr 2006 (EDT)
