Junichi debut at the young age of 14. He is famous amongst other Johnny's members as the first person who ever debut in a Johnny's Group, without having to go through a stint as Johnny's Jr. He had gone up to Tokyo from his hometown Osaka, for one of Johnny's entrance auditions, and was immediately picked to debut with V6, instead of becoming a Jr. Guess Johnny-san really has an eye for potential, as Junichi is probably the most successful member in V6 now (in terms of annual income)
He will be providing the voice-over for Prince Aran, in studio Ghibli's next animation release,Gedosenki.
