Episode 1
Kurasawa Kanae has been married for 8 years and works at an advertising agency. She dreams of being Cartoonist. At first her marriage was nice and her husband was understanding of her dream. One day when she is talking about her cartooning he calls her a stupid woman, and they have been cold to each other ever since. When this happened she enter a Manga slump, and her husbands infidelity was discovered. She decides she wants a divorce and begins corresponding with a lawyer.
However, that lawyer usually they don't take high alimony case for cheating spouses, because of the high mobilization fee the lawyer charges. Kanae is taken aback seeing her husband up close in a cafe with his secret lover. Therefore, she takes her case to Hakamada law firm, which is located in a multi-tenant building. the office in free consultation, and doesn't pay salary to its employees or pay the offices rent. Hakamada tells her to he is not prepared to fight (legally) with her husband.
She goes back home and her husband gives her a necklace as a wedding anniversary present since he will be on a business trip the week of the actual anniversary. While she was looking at his phone while he was in the bathroom, when he received a message from his lover. The message said "I hope I get a diamond when I'm willing to be your wife" Kanae laughs when she discovers the business trip is a lie and that it was really a trip for the two secret lovers. She believes they wanted to make a fool of her.
She takes her case back to Hakamada law firm this time with more evidence. He says that alimony could possibly amount 5 million yen, and Kanae is surprised because the previous lawyer she consulted estimated about 1 million yen. Hakamada however is full of confidence. He gives her the condition that he will take her case if she works on removing the "stupid woman" still in her. He tells her be on guard from her husband, and begin collecting evidence of his cheating. They tell her to 1.)try taking photo evidence of dating 2.)check the GPS and 3.)check car history. At first collecting was painful, but now is it fun.
Episode 2
Hakamada let's the fledgling manga artist work in the office with out telling Yada Akiko.
Kiyomi goes to Hakamada law firm to turn in photo evidence of her cheating husband. The other woman claims her husband is cheating on her with Kiyomi. Kiyomi's husband is cheating on her with his other wife? The case of the double-affair.
Kiyomi's husband has children with the other woman, Togawa Yuko. If Hakamada gets the alimony for Kiyomi he is taking the money from the other wife who was also wronged. However, Kiyomi hesitates about proceeding because she feels it would hurt the children of the other relationship. Fumiko immediately admits to the other woman about the affair. He says that he meet Kiyomi for drinks at a cafe in a store. He goes on to say nothing happened after that. When Kiyomi hears about his confession she is even more determined to sue Yuko, and proceed with the trail process. Hakamada has a friend keep eyes on the husband in order to win the case.
Fumiya to apologize for cheating "Kiyomi, was sorry!" and kneels down on the ground. However, for Kiyomi it is impossible to forgive him. But as directed by Hakamada, she pretends to her husband that the apology is accepted. Immediately, she opens the husband's personal computer and to find an elicit history of his cheating. It's to create a statement to be submitted to the court. On Hakamada's order she attempts to get a testimony from Fumiya saying that "Yuko was the aggressive one in the affair", and to get a signed and stamped statement.
On the other hand, after hearing the testimony of Yuko from Kiyomi, Fumiya is shocked. Yuko, says she'd been cosplaying the image two people wearing a school uniform in the love hotel. To Kiyomi's relief even while the testimony ruins their image, the trial would advance. But ....When Yuko is confronted with the cosplay image by Hakamada, Yuko doesn't attempt to the claim of Kiyomi being "threatened". In addition, Hakamada issues the court new audio data as evidence. It was unquestionably the voice of Fumiya to threaten Kiyomi.
Episode 3
Housewife Saionji Fumiko finished her daughter's wedding and returns home to remove her formal wear. While her husband goes to sleep she looks at his health certificate with gives positive results. One year later she is Hakamada law firm with photo evidence of her husband walking intimately with a student. She is relieved that she can divorce him with favorable terms with this evidence. Hakamada law firm after one year---
Now that Fumiko is 64-year-old this year, her daughter is married. She can't stand living alone with her husband, a tyrant for the last 25 years their marriage.

Her husband will become a big scandal for his college student affair is taken to trail. In time they do solve things outside of court.Thus, the result of the divorce is positive and is approved. The ikebana classroom students began to come back after a while.

Episode 4
Ichikawa Tomohiro after work is supposed to be on his way home, but as he approaches the home apartment home, his heart palpitations becomes violently. At that time, Tomohiro's phone rings.
