Synopsis
Set against the backdrop of traditional dragon boat racing in southern China, separated cousins reunite after a family tragedy. Answering the call of the race, they break through barriers of bloodline and rebuild familial bonds. Together, they join the competition, mending relationships, forging friendships, and discovering life's purpose.
Due to a family misfortune, He Jiashu was kicked out of the family after breaking a forbidden rule. Eight years later, He Jiashu returns to Xi Qiao Village. Initially He Jiashu wants to cut ties thoroughly with He family. However after spending time with He Jiahao, he began to slowly return to the family. Under the pressure of maintaining the conservative concepts of the He family, the two 'brothers" who has no blood relation grow and mature together, breaking their elders' prejudice; regained kinship and friendship, and understand the meaning of family.
