Synopsis
This drama portrays the life of the 19th king of Goguryeo. Hwanwoong was sent from the heavens to make the world a better place. He fell in love with Seoh and gave her the joojak necklace. But Kajin was jealous because Seoh had given birth to Hwanwoong's son. She took the baby and threw him off a cliff. Seoh thought that her son had died and she became overcome with grief. She turned into the black joojak and destroyed the world. Hwanwoong was the only one who could stop her. Afterwards, Hwanwoong went back to the Heavens and said that 2000 years later the true Joo Shin king will come to Earth and with the help of the four gods he will rebuilt Joo Shin.

Trivia
- Ha Ji Won, Kim Ha Neul and Kim Tae Hee were among the selection for the role of Sujini but the role eventually went to newcomer Lee Ji Ah.
- The production cost was estimated to be around 45 billion won.
- On September 10th, a special on this drama will air. Then the first three episodes will air consecutively on the 11th, 12th, and 13th. This drama will air at it's regular scheduled time the following week every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 Korean time.
- The filming of this drama started in March of 2006. The filming ended on December 3rd, 2007. This drama production lasted 1 year and 9 months.
