Synopsis
Fang Li, a white-collar worker in the city, dreams every night of the fallen princess Xiu Rong being tortured by Qin Zi Chuan, a general from an enemy state. Determined to uncover the truth, she travels to the place from her dreams, Lvya Mountain, where she unexpectedly meets Qin Xu, a guesthouse owner and novelist.
Strangely, Qin Xu bears the exact same appearance as the general from her dreams, and the plot of the novel he is writing astonishingly mirrors the events she sees in those dreams. As reality and dreams become increasingly intertwined, the two gradually fall for each other. However, they soon discover that the tragic love and karmic entanglements from a thousand years ago are repeating themselves.
Can they rewrite their fate and finally bring an end to this life-and-death bond that has endured across time and space?
