Synopsis
A thousand-year-old river clam spirit named He Pan has spent most of her life living freely and avoiding trouble. Despite her carefree and often gluttonous nature, she possesses immense power and carries secrets about her past.
When her close companion, the carp spirit Lin Chunyu, faces a life-threatening heavenly tribulation, He Pan learns that the only way to save him is to obtain the heart's blood of Rong Chenzi, the austere and highly respected master of Qingxu Temple. Unknown to most, Rong Chenzi is the mortal reincarnation of Star Lord Lu Cun, a celestial deity whose flesh possesses extraordinary spiritual power.
Determined to save Lin Chunyu, He Pan deliberately approaches Rong Chenzi and attempts to seduce him. What begins as a calculated scheme gradually changes as the innocent yet unconventional demon spirit and the strict, detached Daoist master begin to develop genuine feelings for one another.
However, their love is tested by betrayal, misunderstandings, ancient grudges, and the rigid divide between the immortal and demon worlds. As hidden truths about He Pan's identity and the past come to light, both must confront difficult choices involving love, duty, sacrifice, and destiny.
