Why did this get changed to Dondo Bare? The NHK site consistently uses "hare," and there's even an old page that's named "dondohare." Kidmigz 17:43, 25 Mar 2007 (CDT)

NHK actually switched to "Bare" because it goes along with the Iwate dialect. With that, both the NHK World Premium article and the NHK President's Spring address refer to the show as "Dondo Bare". Groink 18:03, 25 Mar 2007 (CDT)

I realize that this discussion is probably over but... In the show itself I hear "Dondo Hare" being used all the time (at the end of each episode, in the special etc). I think that we should at least mention the alternative title somewhere in the article. --Gryzze 04:31, 1 May 2007 (CDT)
