Synopsis
Based on the same-titled manga, this drama is set in the town of Minatocho. One day, the owner and physician of the town clinic, Baba Kohei, suddenly collapses and dies. His only daughter, Baba Asuka, had just started her career as a nurse. As Asuka searches frantically for a doctor to take over the practice, Tsuruta Masayoshi a.k.a. Jumbo suddenly turns up, after disappearing from the town 12 years ago. He produces an IOU of 100 million yen, signed by Asuka's father, and declares, " This clinic is mine!". From there on, he takes over the clinic and becomes the town doctor. However, what is the real reason for Jumbo's return to the town of Minatocho? --NTV
