Synopsis
The series will be based on Bong Joon-ho's hit film Memories of Murder, which is based on the real-life Hwaseong serial murder case that occurred in the 1980s. A serial rapist-murderer killed ten women and was never caught, and it's one of the most popular true crime cases that gets endlessly retold in film and television, probably because it remains unsolved to this day.
