Envoy Norika gets a letter of thanks
Leggy Norika Fujiwara has been awarded an official letter of thanks from Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi following the end of the actress' year-long stint as a Japan-South Korea Goodwill Ambassador.
Kawaguchi thanked Norika as she presented her with the certificate and praised her for her work. Norika spent much of 2002 promoting relations with Japan's closest neighbor, especially during the soccer World Cup, which Japan co-hosted with South Korea.
"It was a wonderful experience," the gorgeous actress said. "I'd never been to south Korea before, but visited eight times last year, including private trips." (Mainichi Shimbun, Feb. 25, 2003)
