She is a well respected, compassionate young woman. However, she not only lost her mother in the Great East Japan Earthquake, but cannot recover from the grief that her body has not been found. This grief makes her even more determined to identify the cause of every death she encounters. She lives with her father, Taira (Tokito Saburo), a veteran detective, who unexpectedly gets transferred to a police station under the jurisdiction of Kouun University.
