Synopsis
San Qi is the newest Meng Po, gatekeeper of the underworld, and she has her eyes set on grim reaper Zhao Li. Unfortunately for her, she lost a part of her soul during birth and grew up ugly and dull-witted, which is the main reason Zhao Li repeatedly rejected her advances. She spends her days brewing Tea of Forgetfulness and helping souls pass on to the next life, or feeding on souls destined for hell. Then one day, a boy named Chang Sheng stumbles into her place smelling deliciously edible. The problem, however, is that she can't eat him because he is a living soul who is in the underworld by mistake. His lively presence gives color to her dreary existence and makes her yearn for the world of the living.
