Synopsis
Lin Lai Sui (Ariel Lin) fortuitously met a young boy at a party and he comforted her when she was scared. He complimented on her hair, saying that it was very long and dark, just like a doll. From then on, she thought of him as her first love and grew her hair out for him.
Sui drew the design "Daisy" for her mother and entered it in a contest when she was five years old. The design was stolen by Chu Xing (Simon Yam) and it broke up her entire family. She vowed not to fall in love until she has beat Chu Xing in the fashion industry.
Years later, Sui met a guy who made her world change, who would protect her from Chu Xing's conniving acts, but he refuses to be with her even though they both have deep feelings for one another. It was not long before Sui discovered that this guy, Ji Feng Liang (Wu Chun), is actually Chu Xing's son. Disgusted by Chu Xing's indifference toward Liang's dying mother, he pretended that Chu Xing is not his father. Sui is tortured by her strong feelings for Liang and her hatred for his father and she cannot choose between them. She soon finds out that Liang is that boy from long ago who she fell in love with. Through it all, Sui can no longer fight her feelings and united with Liang.
Chu Xing is threatened by Sui for many reasons, and would not allow his son to date her. He laid down many traps for the couple, and invited many people to distort their relationship, this includes the renowned fashion designer Ai Li Ou from Italy, the young drama star Guang Xi, the heiress to a big fabric company Gao Gang Quan, Liang's fiancee Gan Li Sha, and the heir to the EZ Body underwear company Lu Yi Mi. Every time Sui is going somewhere with her designs, Chu Xing would advise the CEOs to disown the designs and find someone new. With the support of a famous designer from Italy, who saw through the Daisy affair and has high hopes for Sui, will Sui be able to defeat Chu Xing once and for all? What happens when Liang returns to his father's side?

- The series was based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Tokyo Juliet" by Miyuki Kitagawa.
- Julian Yang dubbed Wu Chun's voice in the drama. Wu Chun, being a non-native Chinese speaker, had trouble legibly enunciating long and fast dialogs.
