Is this a singer/actress born in 1978?

I don't think it's the same person. I can't find any reference that the singer did any acting as early as 2003, the year of her singing debut. This person was clearly an actress in 2003.

Good point. Neither exist in Hancinema, so it may be that the Korean singer, only did Chinese drama. So what would you advise? Create a Korean or Chinese actress page? --Vylmen (talk) 14:06, 26 January 2021 (PST)

Since she is primarily a Korean singer, known as Chae Yeon (채연) (Ref: Korean Wikipedia), I would suggest entering her as a Korean singer (Category:KSinger). It looks like she appeared in a couple of Chinese dramas, so you can add Category:CActress. Also, add a line in the profile for her Chinese name after her Korean name. That led to English wikipedia, turns out she started in Japan even. In Korea she only did variety shows it seems. The Japanese show she was on is also a variety show, with some producers with questionable ethics. It's late here, but I'll pick it up tomorrow.
