Synopsis
As a child, Wen Chu (Julian Cheung) was rendered mute as a result of the cruel actions of his mother and was adopted by the kind-hearted Ah Jiao (Nancy Sit). Wen Chu grew up with Ah Jiao's daughter Guan Hao (Charmaine Sheh), and the two eventually develop romantic feelings for one another. Wen Chu is extremely self-sacrificing and has an inferiority complex due to his disability. Ah Jiao is also against their relationship and things are further complicated when Situ Li Xin (Steven Ma) enters the picture and falls for Guan Hao too.
