Synopsis 1
This drama centers around a girl born in Okinawa. It depicts the importance of life and family through her growth into maturity.
Synopsis 2
Churasan is filmed on location in Okinawa and stars Kuninaka Ryoko as the heroine Eri Kohagura and Tomi Taira (平良) does double duty as narrator and stars as Eri's grandmother Hana Kohagura. Other actors from Okinawa are DA PUMP's Shinobu Miyara (宮良) and Garage Sale's (ガレッジセール) Gori (ゴリ). The theme song is by a J-Pop duo who are also from Okinawa, Kiroro (キロロ), and the name of the song is "Best Friend" which will be released in Japan on June 6th from the Victor record label.
The rest of the cast is of big name actors and actresses from Japan (here are a few of them):
