Synopsis
Poor Lin Sheung Chun is sold to Kwan's family as a concubine, but her husband passes away accidentally. Losing their husband has caused the first wife, Wong Yeuk Lam, to exhibit erratic behavior. Lin Sheung Chun has no choice but to take up all family responsibilities, including the operation of the family's bistro.
During this time, Ma Wing Ching and Lei Shi Mui are engaged in swindling, and their schemes are unveiled by Lin Sheung Chun. However, Wong Yeuk Lam mistakenly recognizes Ma Wing Ching as her senior apprentice, and she runs after him all the time. Ma Wing Ching seizes the chance to swindle money by working at the bistro.
After a series of incidents, Lin Sheung Chun and Ma Wing Ching unexpectedly develop a crush on each other. Lin Sheung Chun feels caught in the middle between Ma Wing Ching and her childhood friend, Leung Gau Mui. All of a sudden, Lam's second senior apprentice, Yam Fei Yeung, returns home with his foster son Yam Shing Tin. Yam Fei Yeung hopes to win Lam's heart back, but Lin Sheung Chun believes that he has ulterior motives.
To her surprise, she discovers the secret of Ma Wing Ching.
