Synopsis
The Forbidden City's royal harem is filled with hatred, but what becomes of the ladies within the walls? Seung-Ling (Ada Choi) and Su-Lan (Tracy Yip) fight to become the chosen nanny of the fifth prince. Consort Dowager Shun (Christine Ng) begins spreading rumors about Consort Yu ([[Sheren Tang]), her sister, due to her resentment of Consort Yu feigning ill, forcing Consort Dowager Shun to go in her sister's place in the selections and unfortunately becomes a consort to the aged Emperor Qianlong.
Ko Lau-Fei (Moses Chan) is a prestigious and renowned Kunqu Opera performer who battles against his Opera co-actor, Tong Kat-Hoi (Eddie Kwan). When the Kunqu Opera group enter the palace, they become entangled in the harem's lust for passion. With the constraints of the Forbidden City's walls closing in, who will escape victorious?
