Synopsis
A mass poisoning incident occurred in the Aosawa family - a prominent family in City K. Left at the scene was a letter resembling a poem and contains a mysterious word "Eugenia". One of the witnesses, Saiga Makiko, who was an elementary school student back then, decides to interview people who were involved in the incident for her college thesis. She reunites with Aosawa Hisako, her childhood friend and the sole survivor of the incident. However, Makiko's reunion with Hisako drastically changes her life and she suddenly vanishes after her thesis was published.
30 years after the incident, freelance writer, Tanami Yuko, decides to visit City K to investigate the incident again. Yuko manages to interview Makiko and others, and finds her own life transformed after getting involved with the incident.
