Synopsis
Kionaka Masaki is a medical representative from Tenpo Pharmaceuticals and is working tirelessly towards his goal of releasing "Pansel", a new type of Type 2 diabetes drug. If successful, it would become a mega-hit product with annual sales exceeding 100 billion yen. However, due to a fierce sabotage by Samejima, a medical representative from a rival company, "Pansel" suddenly finds itself accused of various compliance violations. Furthermore, it was found that "Novelma", a cancer treatment drug which Masaki recommended to patients, has caused deaths due to its side effects. What is the true purpose of releasing drugs? It becomes a question to medical representatives on their true duty - curing patients or chasing after profits?
