  • Wang Kai made corresponding changes and treatments in some of his tone of voice, actions, and expressions. There are many details that make everyone feels that Song Yunhui in the second part has grown up and is a relatively mature factory director, rather than a naive college student.
  • Born in 1993, Dong Zijian said that because he grew up in a different era than the character, he didn't feel much resonance, but the character's growth experience was the same. However, he could still feel the real restoration of the era in the set design of the whole play.
  • In order to ensure the authenticity of the plot, screenwriter Tang Yao not only conducted on-site research at chemical plants and wholesale markets for a month, but also went to Ningbo, the filming location, to experience life there.
  • The set construction was realistic, from the old-fashioned bicycle to the Happiness 250 motorcycle, from the carefully chosen words on the certificates on the wall to the way official documents were printed, every detail was made to be realistic.
