About
Prior to her acting career, Ryu Hyun Kyung had aspirations of becoming a rapper. After she began her acting career, Ryu attended a signing event for Korean hip-hop group "Jinusean". The manager for "Jinusean," who works for popular music label YG Entertainment and was also at the signing event, saw her signing along to the group's songs and offered to sign her to YG Entertainment as a singer. Ryu turned down the offer though due to her acting career.
