Synopsis
During World War II, the Japanese army drafted young Taiwanese youths to guard Allied prisoners of war in Borneo. When Australia assumes control of the region, the Taiwanese soldiers are falsely accused of ordering a brutal massacre of the prisoners. As they struggle to survive amidst the chaos, they find solace in their shared dream of returning home. This tale explores these young soldiers' desperate quest for redemption and survival during challenging times.
