The date standard that was discussed in the DramaWiki suggest that format should be YYYY-MM-DD. I hope this helps since I pretty much had the same problem, but at least it was corrected by others (although I had it right the first time).

Hi, about the matter of 仲西匡 being Nakanishi Tadashi or Nakanishi Kyo, I followed the latter based on the Wikipedia entry and the majority of the Google returns "なかにし きょう". As I find the Japanese wikipedia generally trustworthy for names, I wonder if you have even better confirmation of Tadashi as, well, the right name. Thanks. --Lzydata 22:15, 7 Sep 2006 (EDT)

匡 in nanori is ただし or "tadashi", and in onyomi as キョウ or "kyo". Nanori is supposedly used for Japanese names, while onyomi is used if the Chinese pronounciation is the choice. When it comes down to it, they're both technically right, which is why in the Japanese romanization guide the first criteria is how the artist wants his/her name written and pronounced. So in this case, the fans who know him know how to pronounce the name, in this case it is "Kyo". Groink 22:47, 7 Sep 2006 (EDT)

Ok, I think you're right (this page also seems to be trustworthy), but I'll explain why I thought it was Tadashi. When I translated Dragon Zakura (oct-dec 2005), I also checked on the Japanese Wikipedia for this entry. At this date, it was written Nakanishi Tadashi (I checked the history of this page, and that's what was written link). I also found strange that there were changes from 仲西匡 to 中西匡 and then reverted back to 仲西匡 : it seems that Japanese Wikipedia editors actually didn't know much about this person. By the way, I have an other source for names transcriptions which is Hatena Diary ; Nakanishi Tadashi is still stated on this page... --Le Piaf 15:49, 20 Sep 2006 (EDT)
