Notes
- This is a remake of the popular Qiong Yao story 一帘幽梦 / Yi Lian You Meng / Dream Behind the Curtain. There is also a 1996 Taiwanese adaptation starring Vivian Chen as Zi Ling, Xiao Qiang as Lu Ping, Kevin Lin as Chu Lian and Liu De Kai as Fei Yun Fan.
- With the exception of Qin Lan, who was in Princess Returning Pearl III, this is the other 3 leads' first time acting in a Qiong Yao production.
- Zhang Jia Ni makes her television drama debut after winning the "Finding Zi Ling" nationwide contest. Runner-up Liao Jing Xuan also has a supporting role in the series.
- Most of the filming took place in Shanghai, China. Some of the scenes were also shot on location in Paris, France.
