can't believe I'm watching this. meteor garden and the taiwanese band F4 were absolutely TERRIBLE and gave the story a really bad name. hopefully this will change my views..

[2]KR Gourmet ep24/24 Final Rating: 8.4/10
I like how for once, a drama didn't focus on love as a main theme. it didn't until around episodes 17/18 but even so, the excess in troubles with un ahm jung was kind of irritating. bong-joo was made into a good person then bad person and suddenly became good again, what the heck? it was like he was two different people. but none was worse than the characterization of min-woo, and it wasn't the actor's fault--the writing was just bad. bong-joo (choi do-kyung from the secret lovers!) was acted out really well, good job again, kwon oh-jung! nam sang-mi was cute and genuine like always. I love the roles she plays--most lead females always end up annoying with their long pauses and deep thinking, "I shouldn't like you! but I can't help it! I'll do anything!" etc etc. though it's probably because gourmet wasn't focused on love. but the best characterization always goes to kim rae-won. his characters are always fun and full of energy.

this started off funny and entertaining. I thought it would be different but nope.. too many pauses, slow talking, excessive "troubled thinking" scenes, and unnecessary twists and turns but with a predictable ending like always. disappointing.

-I'm in love with Korean dramas :) I never got the hang of Japanese dramas and over 50% of Taiwanese dramas are either unable to be taken seriously, ridiculously written, or have bad actors. That doesn't mean I dislike them: there are a few that are clear masterpieces ;). Plus I'm a Chinese-American so it really helps my sad Mandarin... I never watch dramas online, I think it's annoying when you have to stop and change the video every 10 minutes or it randomly pauses due to slow loading and you have to pause it and wait. It's also arrogant when your internet connection randomly cuts off. Therefore, I resort to downloading dramas (anti-torrent). <p>
