Synopsis
During the War of Liberation, Liu Zhihui, an officer of the Kuomintang, witnessed and personally experienced the various ugly acts of the Kuomintang actively fighting the civil war. After experiencing hardships, he woke up and led the Kuomintang troops to surrender and join the ranks of the People's Liberation Army under the complicated and dangerous environment.
In the revolutionary struggle, Liu Zhihui gave full play to his bravery and combat expertise. In the process of advancing thousands of miles into the Dabie Mountains, Liu Zhihui led his comrades in an extremely bad situation, defying strong enemies, maneuvering and fighting bloody battles, opening up the way for the large forces, and contributing his own uniqueness to the completion of the party’s central strategic deployment power. In the end, Liu Zhihui grew into a communist fighter with strong ability and firm conviction.
