- The crew built a set larger than 8000 square meters in Beijing that housed the hospital, apartment and other locations featured in the drama.
- Dou Xiao and Miao Miao already met since Princess Agents. He played Yan Xun while she played Xiao Qi. Jin Shi Jie was also in Princess Agents.
- Dou Xiao also reunites with Zhou Yi Wei, Peng Guan Ying and Wang Si Si as they were all part of the ensemble cast of Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy.
