Synopsis
In 1937, Manchuria was occupied by Japanese forces. Koo Ping On (Myolie Wu) and a brother-like friend Tin Hau Yi (Ron Ng) brought her sick mother to Nanjing searhcing for Koo Maan Chuen (Lau Dan), the father of Ping On and owner of the biggest rice company in Nanjing.
