DramaWiki:List of Templates

Templates are used within articles to provide a consistent look to often used and thus repeating messages. Changes to the look, wording, or style of the message can be implemented quickly, because templates are rendered for the reader when the article loads. This page lists some useful templates available in WikiDrama and explains how to use them.

Template messages

Template messages are used on pages for information purposes only. They are often displayed in boxes.

{{unconfirmed}} (Talk, list)	This TV drama has not been officially confirmed. Information cannot be verified by TV network sources.	to be added to the top of a page of a drama that cannot be verified by a primary source.
{{JTVSeasons}} (Talk, list)	Japanese Television Seasons Winter: January-March • Spring: April-June • Summer: July-September • Autumn/Fall: October-December	to be used in places where the Japanese TV seasons need to be defined.
{{disambig}} (Talk, list)		to be added to the bottom of disambiguation pages

Maintenance templates

Besides informational purposes maintenance templates are used for better administration of pages. These templates usually put the pages into a special category to make them easier to find.

{{Template:Synopsis}} (Talk, list)	This article or section contains a synopsis that is overly long or contains too much detail about the work. Please edit it to both contextualise the fictional nature of the work and focus on summarizing the work rather than simply reiterating the plot from start to finish. You may also discuss changes on the talk page. All synopses are to be limited to 150 words (current length as of adding this message is {{{1}}} words.) See DramaWiki's style guide to writing more effective synposes for suggestions.	Marks a page containing a synopsis that is too lengthy or contains too much detail. Place either at the very top of the article or at the beginning of the synopsis section.

Navigational templates

Navigational templates are used to create menus for easier navigation.
