Synopsis
During World War II, the Japanese army drafted young Taiwanese youths to guard the Allied prisoners of war in Borneo, an island in southeast Asia. Upon Australia taking control of the region, they are faced with false accusations of ordering a horrific massacre of the prisoners. During the challenging times for these youths, they relied on their desire to return home for survival.
