Editing Artist Images

I can see that you are a fan of Lee Joon Ki which makes you really want to edit his page and add info in it. BUT you are making contributions that are not that necessary and most of the pictures that you replaced in your edits are not that better than the previous ones. When you edit the page for Nam Sang Mi, the photo shouldn't be "posey". The features of the photo should be kept simple and original. If the background is black, the colour of the person's hair may blend in with the background. Please note that Dramawiki is not a page for fans to "decorate" their idol's page. It's okay to add info on your favourite artist's page, but please make everything as brief as possible and don't add unnecessary things onto the page.

If you are not sure, please read again:

Korean Artist Article Formatting
Rules About Images
Rules About Synopses

Remember to read about the other advices that other users are giving you. There is a reason that they are spending their time telling you to change your edits. Please make your contributions valuable to Dramawiki instead of creating a concern for others. Chillyperson 13:14, 15 August 2009 (PST)

Hey, fandork! Enough of editing Jung Kyung Ho.jpg! The previous photo's perfectly fine! You keep trying to focus on the chest area. Very fandork of you! Stop it! Groink 00:50, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Lay off of Miyazaki Aoi's photo. The older photo is perfectly fine. Any replacements WILL be reverted. I can play this game just as die-hard as you. Groink 02:14, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Plagiarism charges

Dana, look at the situation from Pinkpineapple and my point of view. How are WE supposed to know that you and df4529 are of the same person? Is there any proof? We can't just take your word for it. If you have a profile on CrunchyRoll as df4529, make an entry in your CR profile that you are AKA Dana. Once you do that, provide a link to your CR's profile via your User page, and THEN you can re-use df4529's works on DramaWiki. Until you do this, consider copies from CR as plagiarism. Groink 05:19, 15 Aug 2009 (UTC)

I've updated the style guide to address your situation regarding the use of different aliases across the various wiki's. Groink 07:19, 15 Aug 2009 (UTC)

STOP

Please, STOP editing articles on DramaWiki until you've read the following articles:

You've made a mess of several pages which now will need to either be cleaned up or reverted completely. I understand that you want to help but you've really done more damage than anything else. Do not make another page or edit another article until you fully read and understand those articles I've pointed out. --Pineapple 03:34, 15 Aug 2009 (UTC)

Dana, what the f_uck do you think DramaWiki is? Some sort of a ghetto where you can make up your own s_hit as you go? No dates on photos! Don't change photos for the hell of it! Don't plagiarize synopses! Don't make up your own sections! DramaWiki is not a place for fandorks. Like Pinkpineapple says - read the guidelines! If you don't agree to the guidelines, well... there's always Wikipedia! Groink 04:58, 15 Aug 2009 (UTC)
One more thing... See that "Show preview" button while editing? Do you know what that's for? That's so YOU DON'T GO FLOODING THE GOD DAMN LOGS WITH 28 OF YOUR EDITS FOR JUST ONE ARTICLE!!!!!! Plan your edits CAREFULLY before saving. Show preview 100 times if you have to! But for Christ's sake, use the Show preview button! Groink 05:00, 15 Aug 2009 (UTC)

And one thing about the photos: We're not focusing on "up-to-date" photos. We are NOT going to change a photo every fricking time the actor changes his hair style. Changing Miyazaki Aoi's photo is NOT necessary. The ONLY thing we're concerned with is if the photo CONFORMS to DramaWiki standards. Groink 05:04, 15 Aug 2009 (UTC)

I am really losing my patience with you. Stop editing and re-read this (along with those other articles above) VERY carefully. I am going to revert your pictures again, if you replace them with the poor image choices that you uploaded I will put your name up for discussion to be banned for disrupting DramaWiki with vandalism. What you are doing is totally disregarding not only DramaWiki guidelines but also completely ignoring people who are trying to help you understand what you're doing wrong.

BTW, prologues are not allowed on DramaWiki. If you even bothered to read those articles I gave you, you would know that. --Pineapple 21:05, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Removing cleanup tags

Tags like the cleanup tag is added to an article for a reason. Removing a tag without taking care of the issue it addresses is considered disrespect for DramaWiki guidelines. Do not do it again. Groink 04:35, 14 Oct 2007 (CDT)

Lee Joon Ki

Don't even THINK of using that photo you uploaded. The current photo is much better quality for DramaWiki. Groink 00:16, 7 Nov 2007 (CST)

Music Video Listings

They're not allowed on DramaWiki. DramaWiki tracks only TV dramas. Other forms of TV-based entertainment should not be listed (variety shows, music videos, etc.) Groink 13:25, 23 Nov 2007 (CST)

Vandalism report

You have officially been reported to the administrators for vandalism of DramaWiki. Your account may become disabled as a result. We warned you! Groink 23:38, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Main banner vs. Correlation chart

Following general Korean TV Show Article Formatting Guidelines, each drama page should be restricted to 2 images:

  • One header/banner image, and
  • One correlation chart showing the relationships between the main cast.

The space beside the cast, where you insist on putting that main image for Hero, is generally reserved for the correlation chart. Considering how large a cast list the drama will potentially have, it doesn't make sense to fill the spot for correlation charts with an image that only shows four characters and deem it "Cast of Heroes", does it? That image you uploaded is clearly a banner and should be placed up the top. You can observe other articles to see how it's generally done; creativity with design is not encouraged here. This might seem a very minor point, but your general insistence on sacrificing consistency to satisfy your personal quirks, on this article as well as others, is getting tiring. Please stop making edits to suit your wishes and reverting other editors' changes when they attempt to fix up what you've done. --Hanjae 05:29, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
