Synopsis
One day in winter, police officer Ono Makoto discovers a strange young woman standing on a boat in the middle of Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park. She is wearing blood-stained clothes and has been staring at the water for a long period of time. Thinking she is about to commit suicide Makoto goes to her rescue. This young woman claims she is suffering from amnesia and has no recollection of who she is or where she came from. Having no place to stay, Makoto feels pity and takes her to live at his parents place, a tofu shop run by an elderly couple. When asked, Makoto hides about the amnesia and gives her a name based on the pond: Koike Shinobu. There is mystery surrounding her, then sadness and fear as the truth comes to light. What is Shinobu's true identity and why is there a "cameraman" following her in the shadows...?
