About Yuan Hong
From a proud emperor to a caring veterinarian, a sunshine boy to a calculating villain, Yuan Hong's acting is as versatile as the roles he takes on. His portrayal of Liao General Yelu Xie in "Shao Nian Yang Jia Jiang" captured the audience's attention as he battled Yang Wu Lang not only in war, but also in love. He wrote in his blog that he was originally offered the role of Yang Wu Lang, but after reading the script, he insisted on playing the antagonist Yelu Xie.
