Synopsis
I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:
Make the care of my patient my first concern; listen to patients and respect their views; recognize the limits of my professional competence; be honest and trustworthy; make sure that my personal beliefs do not prejudice my patients' care; avoid abusing my position as a doctor; and work with colleague in the ways that best serve patients' interest.
Right after Liu Xin Ping, President Liu's only daughter, checked into the hospital for her ongoing chemotherapy treatments, a heated power struggle exploded inside the hospital. While Dr. Su was only concerned about the care of this patient, Liu's treatments became the cards in which Dr. Xu, internal medicine, and Dr. Tang, surgery, played to win the hospital director's position. And without warning, the dark reality of hospital politic was thrust into Dr. Su's idealistic world of medicine. He must learn to play the game to survive and flourish or risk becoming a casualty.
What should have been a holy and tranquil place of healing had become a battle ground where ambition reel it's ugly head.
