Synopsis
Hu Ba Yi is well versed in Feng Shui with specialization in tomb configuration, which he learned from an antique book he inherited from his family. The knowledge saved his life when him fell into a ditch in a snow avalanche in Tibet. And again when he and his friends joined an archaeology team to explore the "ghost cave" of Taklamakan Desert. As he helped the team navigate through the dangers, he couldn't help feeling that someone had predicted their every move.

Trivia
- Filming lasted 87 days from March 26, 2016 to June 15, 2016.
- Filming took place in Beijing, Hami in Xinjiang province and Dunhuang in Gansu province.
- Because Zhao Da was playing Wang Pangzi (Fat Wang) even though he wasn't fat, his job on set was to keep eating.
- Zhao Da and Chen Qiao En revealed that Jin Dong's nickname on set was Hu Haomang (Hu very busy) because someone would be calling for Hu Bayi everyday. Jin Dong was involved in many aspects from filming to props.
- On May 23, 2016, Jin Dong injured his leg during filming. He was immediately taken to the hospital and got stitches after it was diagnosed that his leg wasn't fractured.
- It was scheduled for a simultaneous television broadcast on Dragon TV but due to the theme of the story, it never aired on TV.
- It hit 170 million views 24 hours after release on Tencent.
- Tencent has rights to adapt eight novels from the Ghost Blows Out the Light series.
